Move Over Chalkboards, There's a New Wedding Sign in Town:  5 Wedding Signs That Aren't Chalkboards

June 13, 2017

We all know and love the beautifully artistic chalkboard wedding signs that have been flooding Pinterest boards for the last couple of years but there is a new trend for delightfully elegant, timeless options.  The chalkboard isn't going anywhere soon but they have become so popular they are synonymous with rustic, barn weddings, sandy, sunset-filled, beach weddings, destination weddings in tiny, historical chapels and, surprisingly, in elegant settings where every detail is carefully curated.

You see where I'm going with this....every wedding coming down the aisle these days seems to have some chalkboard element...even on the cake.  All this chalk dust is making me sneezy and is making Weddings appear dated.  In ten years from now, bridal magazines across the world will have articles like "Remember When Chalk was King?"  And "Here's a Throwback to the Days When EVERYONE Wanted Chalkboard Wedding Signs".  Let's face it, the chalkboard trend has become a cliché.  And Weddings, with prolific use of them, are losing their timelessness and becoming a cookie cutter standard with no distinguishing personality traits.

But no need to despair...brides everywhere are choosing to forego the requisite chalkboard and opting for more fun, eclectic choices filled with tons of personality.  Check out these 5 examples:
